Nepal Visa

You must have a current and valid passport and a valid visa to enter Nepal.

By far the easiest way to obtain a visa for Nepal is upon arrival at Tribuhvan International Airport, Kathmandu, Nepal.

PLEASE NOTE WE CANNOT OBTAIN A NEPAL VISA FOR YOU

ENSURE YOUR PASSPORT IS VALID FOR AT LEAST 6 MONTHS FROM THE DATE YOU WILL ARRIVE IN NEPAL.

PLEASE MAKE SURE THE VISA YOU ARE PURCHASING IS OF SUFFICIENT DURATION TO COVER YOUR LENGTH OF STAY IN NEPAL.

WE RECOMMEND PRE-REGISTRATION AND THEN OBTAINING YOUR VISA ON ARRIVAL

1. Pre-register your details* at: NEPAL VISA Pre-Registration (No earlier than 15 days before arrival)

2. Print out a copy of your pre-registration and take it with you. (Do not pay online)

3. Present your printed pre-registration document and your passport to immigration upon arrival and pay the appropriate fee**.

*The pre-registration process requires you to enter an address in Nepal. Our own address can be used as follows:

Rural Heritage Journeys PVT LTD, Pipal Marg, Bansbari, Kathmandu, Nepal.

** You can pay for your visa in cash in any of these currencies: USD, EUR, CHF, GBP, AUD, CAD, HKD, SGD, and JPY. Any change you receive back will be in Nepalese Rupee's.

As of July 17, 2019, the visa fees for Nepal are:

(Multiple Entry). 15 days: US$ 30, 30 days: US $50, 90 days: US$ 125
