The Office for Snow Cat Travel for all customer enquiries is based in the UK, although as a Nepalese company the Head Office for Rural Heritage Journeys is in Kathmandu.
Snow Cat Travel is managed by Mark, who has trekked and travelled extensively throughout Nepal and Bhutan (and beyond).
Mark has over 40 years of experience in the travel industry with "blue-chip" UK Adventure Travel Operators.
Initially as a trek leader and then in senior management roles in both product and operations.
Mark endeavours to provide all our clients with a responsive, friendly, and knowledgeable service.
Mark created the Snow Cat Travel brand which is registered as a brand name and protected under copyright as a Registered Trade Mark UK 00003289264.

When Mark created Snow Cat Travel, he appreciated from the very outset that it should be "for people by people" and the philosophy towards customer service is very simple: "treat people how we, as people, like to be treated".
With tailor-made treks and tours, a "hard sell" approach just won't work, AND it won't happen to you either.
Snow Cat Travel is not selling "bums on seats, high volume, join a group, fixed itinerary, fixed schedule treks, and tours".
Mark is genuinely here to help you. Yes, we use computers, but to handcraft a truly tailor-made trek or tour, you really need the human brain, where knowledge, experience, passion, and dedication still matter more than a programmed machine.
Outside of our regular opening hours stated above,Mark endeavours to provide an "on request or on call" basis at weekends and evenings. We understand that with the international nature of our client base and the varied time zones, our regular office hours may not always be convenient. So, if you'd like to chat with us on the telephone outside our usual office hours, please let Mark know in advance, and he will do his very best to arrange a convenient telephone appointment with you. Mark regularly manages to speak with clients as far apart as Australia and the U.S.A. at all times of day and night.
