You must have a current, valid passport and a valid visa to enter Bhutan.
PLEASE NOTE WE OBTAIN A BHUTAN VISA FOR YOU
It is included in your Bhutan holiday price, and you cannot obtain a Bhutan Visa yourself. It is a government regulation that you must use a licensed Bhutanese Tour Operator to book your travel to Bhutan or one of their international partners.
At the time of booking and in order for us to make the application for your Bhutan Visa YOU MUST SEND THE FOLLOWING:
1. A colour scan of all participants passport details pages.
2. A colour scan of a passport style photograph of all participants. This can be done using a mobile ohone camera, but must be head and shoulders only and must be against a white background.
3. A scan of all participants travel insurance policy schedules.
4. A scan or photo of your airline tickets
We cannot commence Bhutan Visa preparations with out all three of the above being submitted.
IT MUST BE THE PASSPORT YOU WILL BE TRAVELLING WITH.
PLEASE ENSURE YOUR PASSPORT IS VALID FOR AT LEAST 6 MONTHS FROM THE DATE YOU WILL ARRIVE IN BHUTAN & THAT THE PASSPORT DETAILS YOU SEND US TO APPLY FOR YOUR BHUTAN VISA IS THE PASSPORT YOU WILL BE USING FOR YOUR BHUTAN HOLIDAY.
Upon receipt of your final balance payment for your holiday*, we will make the Bhutan Visa application. We cannot make the Bhutan Visa application without the final payment being made as we have to provide evidence to the Bhutan authorities that payment has been made.
*For all bookings to Bhutan we must receive final payment (payment in full) no later than 36 days before the arrival date.
The process usually takes around three weeks after which we will send you a copy of your Visa Clearance Letter. You must take two copies of this letter on your Bhutan Holiday with you and present it (and your valid passport) upon arrival at Paro International Airport, upon which the Bhutan Visa will be stamped in your passport.
