At over 2000m, the hilltop Nagarkot Country Villa Resort commands extensive views of the Himalaya as well as the delightful valley below. This welcoming hotel is very popular with Snow Cat Travel clients, and not just for the views! There are well-appointed, very comfortable standard, deluxe, and suite rooms to choose from, all of which are naturally en-suite and have free wifi and air conditioning. There's a bar, restaurant, and coffee lounge, along with a meditation centre, spa, sauna, and jacuzzi. It's also a renowned weekend retreat for the Kathmandu elite, as it's only an hour away, but it's a different world up here in Nagarkot. Just be aware that Nagarkot is not known locally as the 'windy hill' for nothing. Good for kite flying, though!
