Not to be confused with the similarly named and luxuriously superior Dwarika's Dhulikhel Resort, the Dhulikhel Lodge Resort provides a good standard of accommodation and is deservedly popular. There are great views of the Himalayas, and the Thousand Stairs Temple is just a short walk away. The hotel has a lounge bar, a restaurant, and a spa too. Set in private, lush gardens, the outdoor terrace is the place to relax and soak up the panoramic views of the mountains. The ancient Newari town of Dhulikhel itself is right on the doorstep. The rooms are spacious and have balconies affording Himalayan views, as well as being fully en-suite. The hotel has free WiFi too. Not as plush as the luxurious Dwarika's Resort, but nothing like as expensive either.
