A relatively short Bhutan trek, but this spectacular walk to Chomolhari Base Camp is challenging too. There are three passes to cross, all over 4000 metres including the mighty Bonte La at 4900m with great views of Chomolhari, Jitchu Drake and other peaks of the Bhutan Himalayas. There are remote valleys, dense bear inhabited forests, yak pastures as well as the rural delights of Bhutanese villages to discover. No Bhutan holiday is complete without a visit to the Tigers Nest-Taktsang Monastery and the short hike to this iconic site rounds this trek in Bhutan off nicely. Sleeping bags (4 season) will be required for nights spent camping
This trip features a good Bhutanese standard of hotel accommodation, however there are options to upgrade to 4*/5* top end Boutique Hotels in Paro
