Buddhism and Hinduism co-exist and flourish in Nepal and to many (naturally including the locals themselves), Nepal is very much a spiritual country and one where people travel to perhaps find their own inner peace, with the clutter of their 'own world' far, far away.
Our Spiritual & Holistic holiday is designed to include many of the most important and sacred sites in Nepal, including the birth place of Buddha and for those seeking a more involved experience, you can even stay at a Buddhist Monastery and take part in daily prayer rituals and meditation.
Naturally, we will tailor-make your spiritual journey to your desires and you may wish to include time at a Yoga Retreat.
Indeed, should you wish then we can incorporate on foot spiritual journeys into the Himalayas themselves to visit sacred places and locations such as Muktinath, Thyangboche Monastery, Shey Gompa and Gosainkund Lake, although you'll also find that many of our classic treks by default visit these holy places, but naturally you may wish to spend more time at certain places rather than just 'trekking through'.
12 Day Example Itinerary
A cultural and spiritual journey through Nepal to visit and pay homage to many of the most holy, sacred sites and places both of Hindu and Buddhist faiths. Explore the Kathmandu Valley and have plenty of time at locations such as Bodnath, Pashupatinath, Swayambunath, Budhanlikantha and Changu Narayan. Visit the Kopan Monastery and Khachoe Nunnery and spend the evening at Namobuddha. Journey to Lumbini and be part of the faithful at the birthplace of Buddha and then ultimately spend several days at a tranquil Buddhist Monastery in a scenic location in the Kathmandu Valley and engage in meditation and prayer with the monks at Neydo.

Spiritual Nepal Holiday Suggestion
Perhaps the true "Jewel in the Crown" for Nepal isn't the spectacular landscapes.....although of course landscapes don't get much more spectacular than the Himalayas!
In our opinion it is the people of Nepal that makes any visit to Nepal memorable, celebrated here on the right in our "People within a Landscape" short video and on the left , Holi Festival celebrations from Bandipur on March 1st 2018
