ABOUT THIS MAP - For those not familiar with the topography of the Everest region, this map shows the various trekking route options for all our Everest Base Camp Treks.

ALL ROUTES FOLLOW THE ORANGE ROUTE FROM LUKLA TO NAMCHE AT THEIR BEGINNING

The STANDARD EVEREST BASE CAMP Trek is a linear route (i.e. goes up and back the same way) and is indicated in orange

The EVEREST BASE CAMP HELI-TREK also follows the orange route as far as Everest Base Camp (returning to Kathmandu by private helicopter from Gorak Shep)

The EVEREST THE HARD WAY TREK is indicated in red and returns from Everest Base Camp to Lukla via the orange route

The ULTIMATE EVEREST TREK follows the orange route to start with and then follows the blue route to join the red route at Gokyo and returns from Everest Base Camp to Lukla via the orange route

The THREE HIGH PASSES EVEREST TREK follows the red route to Everest Base Camp, then follow the purple route via the Kongma La to Chukkung and rejoins the orange route to return to Lukla

The map is intended to show an overview of the various Everest Base Camp treks for guideline purposes only at this optimised view.
