Hiunchuli- The "forgotten peak" on the trek to Annapurna Base Camp

By Snow Cat Travel, Feb 10 2018 12:00PM

Hiunchuli
Hiunchuli

We feel sorry for Hiunchuli. Whether you're trekking in the Annapurna foot hills or hiking to Annapurna Base Camp, poor Hiunchuli is over-shadowed by it's more iconinc rivals like Annapurna 1, Annapurna South and Fishtail Peak.

Although Hiunchuli is essentially a satellite peak of Annapurna South, it does have it's own name and is regarded as a great trekking peak to attempt in its own right.

When seen in isolation from the mian Annapurna Massif, Hiunchuli is (in our opinion) a rather beautiful mountain too.
