We have shown the itinerary on the basis of a complete holiday purely for illustrative purposes. Naturally as tailor-made Nepal holiday specialists we would be happy to discuss additional options, whether it be other activities, more/less sightseeing, alternative/upgraded accommodation etc dependent upon your interests, preferences and time available. We even tailor-make a suggested 'what to pack' list for you based upon your ultimately chosen Nepal tailor-made holiday too.

Day 1 - Arrive Kathmandu

Arriving at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you'll be met and receive a private transfer for the short distance into central Kathmandu and to the "KGH" Hotel in the heart of the Thamel district. You'll be given a briefing on your forthcoming adventure, and in the evening can take dinner at your leisure in one of the many choices of cafes & restaurants in Kathmandu, although the open air courtyard cafe of the KGH Hotel is as good as anywhere,

Accommodation: KGH Hotel  -   Kathmandu

Included Meals: None

Day 2 - To the Sun Kosi and raft

A private transfer takes you east along the road to the Tibetan border and to the confluence of the Bhote Kosi and Indrawatti Rivers, and from where the Sun Kosi begins. Once everything is unloaded and ready you'll be given a full safety briefing. You'll be given wetsuits, lifejackets and safety helmets (paddles too!) and everything needed for this self-sufficient, wild rafting expedition is carried on the rafts. Anything you need with you for the next few days will be stored in dry bags on board. After lunch, the rafting begins with a 3 hour paddle to tonights camp on a suitable sandy bank. Enjoy a tasty dinner cooked for you on the banks of the Sun Kosi and enjoy your first night of wild camping.

Accommodation: Wild Camp, Sun Kosi 1

Included Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Days 3 - 8 Sun Kosi River Expedition

The typical pattern for these days is usually an early morning wake up call with 'bed tea' served in your tent, followed by an 'al fresco' breakfast. Once camp is broken it's onto the waters for whitewater fun and paddling for 3-4 hours and to a suitable scenic place for a picnic lunch. In the afternoon there's more Sun Kosi capers for between 2-4 hours and the next wild camp location and dinner.

Accommodation: Wild Camps, Sun Kosi 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7

Included Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 9 - Fly to Kathmandu

A morning of final paddling down the Sun Kosi River and to the take out near Chatra. Once everything is packed up it's a private transfer to Biratnagar Airport for the 35min flight to Kathmandu. Look to your right and you'll see Everest! Upon arrival you'll be tranferred to your hotel with the remainder of the day at your leisure. You could of course readily extend this holiday with some extra days in and around Kathmandu for some mountain biking or even a spot of sighsteeing can be readily added.

Accommodation: KGH Hotel, Kathmandu

Included Meals: Breakfast, Lunch

Day  10 - Depart Nepal

A private transfer will take you to the airport for your return international flight.

Included Meals: Breakfast

Of course there's no reason to depart today, your Nepal holiday can be readily tailor-made.
