A relatively easy Bhutan walking holiday that incorporates a series of varied day walks and cultural sightseeing at the same time. Whilst some walks are longer than others, this on foot way of exploring the sights and wonders of Bhutan is ideal for those who prefer more leisurely walking. Whilst most treks in Bhutan necessitate camping by default, on this Bhutan trek every night is spent in comfortable hotels and heritage lodges. Your main baggage is transferred by private vehicle between hotels allowing you to enjoy your walking unencumbered, carrying just your usual day pack. Including Punakha, Taktsang, Bumthang & the delightful Haa Valley there are Dzongs, temples and monasteries aplenty, as well as the chance to experience the rural delights of Bhutan too.
This trip features a good Bhutanese standard of accommodation, however there are options to upgrade to 4*/5* top end Boutique Hotels in Paro, Thimpu, Punakha & Gangtey.
